I admit I am a bit of an extrovert . Some of these ideas may have changed with the times , that said ....
I traveled a Lot with my job 27-35 I moved every year or so.. Yep The Bar Scene was ok?.. but Night School was a GREAT Place to meet people. Even Just Night Classes.. All Except for my E.E. classes , I was always way out numbered by ladies : ) I also found that Cooking Classes and Dance Classes and Yes it was around even way back then..... Yoga classes.... Very Few Guys Back Then, took Yoga.. Martial Arts was good for me Mentally Physically and Socially ..I Played Guitar once in awhile in a Outlaw Country Band, I was a competitive X Country Skier, when there was no snow, I became a Gym Rat as well. In short I should say...P.M.A!! Just Short of Cocky or Obnoxious ! Very few people want to hang out with someone feeling sorry for him/her-self. I shouldnt but I will say it was for that time in my life a Total Package.. The more aspects / facets there are to you, the more interest from others you will see. I learned quickly though, that most of those "friendships" didnt qualify as long term commitments.. FOR ME , Once I finally Grew Up..I found my lifes partner/wife at a Church I was attending.. But You Cannot Do It For Him..

Parrot Head Club? A lot of "older" folks, but there are some young ladies who like Buffet songs and parties, and do a lot of community volunteerism where its likely to meet some nice kids his own age. Hey, who knows, he might meet a granny who has a lonely grand daughter with the same problem.
