No they let them run down edgewater over to the ramp. Not over the bridge

I hope they do something about the timing of the lights on 41 now that there is the additional traffic with Edgewater closed. These past three days have been a bear on 41 N from Port Charlotte Blvd to Midway. Seems like there is so much traffic turning south on Midway that the two turn lanes and 20 second turn arrow light cycle isn't enough to handle the flow. Traffic backs up from the turn lanes into the left travel lane, effectively reducing 41 N to two lanes of traffic instead of three.
Seems like at the very least they need to increase the time the left turn arrows stay on to allow more traffic to turn.

I saw that yesterday mike I wonder if all those car live over that way or are trying to find a way off 41 back to edgewater- flamingo- eljobean? this afternoon I went on a call to cape coral for work and goung through punta gorda there was a lot of traffic northbound about 330 pm. coming home I turned onto 41 off of burnt store road at 630 pm and it was stop and go all the way to the bridge then it oped up free took me an hour to get home after I turned onto 41 and for those who don't knoe I live off edgewater near harbor

looking at the work scheduale

if they don't plan to work on the sunrise bridge till next January why is it closed now 10 months early




January 5, 2015:
Construction and utility work begins from Midway Boulevard to West Spring Lake Bridge (Area 1).


January 12, 2015:
Construction will require lane closures and detours


January 19, 2015:
Lauzon Avenue closes at 10:30 a.m. to thru traffic for duration of project


March 2, 2015:
Edgewater Drive closes to thru traffic as work begins on East Spring Lake Bridge.


March 23, 2015
Work begins on West Spring Lake Bridge


July 2015:
Work begins from East Spring Lake Bridge to Sunrise Waterway Bridge (Area 3).


January 2016:
Work begins from Sunrise Waterway Bridge past Harbor Boulevard (Area 4).


April 2016:
Work begins at Edgewater Drive and Harbor Boulevard Intersection (Area 5).


March 2017:
Scheduled completion.

rock creek heres a few more all last week they were ckearing the karge kit mikmal was asking about on the south tside of edgewater were a retention pond and park are to be





they have been moving all the brush they cut there and al along edgewater



today they had a big mulcher making piles of mulch




this is just what I see at this enc of edgewater any updates at the springlake end please add
still no work on the bridge today so why is it closed?

alol the bruxh and trees were removed on a large lot nect to sunrise bridge south of edgewater for a retention pond all mulched and the mulcher removed
