I guess I haven't seen West Tarpon since Edgewater was closed. My yard-sale hunting route takes me by Harbor & Edgewater but I gave up on WT since it's pretty much a dead-end right now.

Well, they are closing the intersection of Midway and Edgewater until Nov 16. Digging a big hole for utilities reconstruction. Just remember.

All the piers are in place for the Spring Lake bridge are in place, estimate one month to completion of the bridge. Of course that doesn't mean that they will get that section of road back open anytime soon.

I rode by the west side of the bridge yesterday on my bicycle to check on progress. While the pilings are in, they are still working on setting the bulkhead along the edge of the water where the bridge will meet the road. They were having a heck of a time setting one of the sections; scratching their heads on how to drive it down deeper. I guess it hit a rock? I didn't notice if the east side is complete yet.
Seeing that, somehow I think one month to complete the bridge is a bit optimistic.

over the weekend I noticed the midway circle has cement curbing done and there is a streach of sidewalk installed up across from springlake ramp.

Seen that too. Makes me wonder why it's taking so long with the other sections of roadway (not including the bridges).
