Are there any gated communities in either county in the 1mil+ range that are on the water? The other option is a gated equestrian community.

There is a gated equestrian community in Placida off Rotonda Trace...5 acre lots in the low 100s IIRC

you have to build a minimum of 2500 sq ft home

look for Rotonda Trace/ Equestrian Ct or Bridle Path lane

5 acre lots/ underground power

isn't there a gated community off midway south of edgewater also Tamre in PC?
maybe it was like 1 road and only one side with a few waterfront home I know I did a job in there once

Are you talking about McGrath Point Estates? Yes, that is another gated waterfront community.

McGrath Point Estates has two gated streets. 4 homes behind one gate (3 are on the water), and 10 homes behind the 2nd gate (4 of which are on the water). No bridges out to the harbor.
