On top of the sales tax, according to CC planning agenda, CC is going to push for an additional sales tax. Here is the agenda. If you scroll through the slides presented at the planning group, the county wants more tax money. Look at the planned budget with the highlighted line.

Be aware of what CC is doing

It's soooo easy to spend other people's money...or so I hear. I wish our elected officials would spend our money as carefully as I spend mine.

No Less Than a Lot of Questions.. $1,800,000.00 for engineering Edgewater.. a straight 10% REALLY? Then we have non compliant benchmarks through out the county ...Why werent benchmarks installed according to compliance regulations in the first place.. $444,000.00 Then a New Boat to Inspect shore line activity/projects $101,000.00 Damn Nice Boat !! Page by page a lot of questions.. I only picked out 3 and I admit the boat purchase is comparatively tiny but tells you what YOUR Local Officials think of you and your tax money.. hahaha ( I'll cut you some slack and I wont go political on ya hahahaha ) IMHO this budget shows a lot of bad attitude just like some of the published crap I read pre election..YET the Same folks got elected again and again..

Lots of questions, almost every other slide has questionable expenses.

The sales tax is the least of the problems.

I see a $600,000 concession stand that has already been approved...... How many hotdogs do you have to sell to cover that?
