Rt 41 bridges are probably pretty safe and great views of the water!

Not PC, but in PG there is Seawalk and Linear Park Trail. Both safe and scenic.

I saw a yoga class set up on the lawn at Gilchrist Park last week...

The Punta Gorda Pathways is a system of approximately 18 miles of Bicycle and Pedestrian Trails and Paths that connect the City's neighborhoods, parks, and commercial areas. The pathways are made up of three segments - Harborwalk, Linear Park, and Shared Use Paths.

Check out the Bayshore Live Oak Park in PC. Amazing views, super walking paths, great facilities and perfect spot to catch sunsets. Typically there are lots of folks out with lawns chairs catching the beautiful sunsets.

Thanks for all the input. I do love the Parks in PG, but it's a good 20+ minute drive from where I am. (Flamingo /OHara) .

I picked up a Charlott!e County guide at the library today & will be checking out what CC has to offer Thanks all!
