They could put a crosswalk there and have police stop traffic when people want to cross like at the baseball stadium.

infrastructure work has been going on for a couple of weeks..pumping out underground water on Main St. (which has already been dug up) to install sewer lines? (2'x3'x10') connecting to big round catch basins..

It looks like they took the Sunseeker Resort page off Facebook. Unless there's a technical glitch, I can't find the page any longer.

This project never made any sense. These kind of mega resorts only work on the beach or associated with some kind of entertainment park or casino complex if done inland without a beach.

I talked with a local businessman yesterday who told me allegiance was seeking permission to include a casino as part of the project? Wondering if this is true. I am of the understanding a casino is restricted to certain areas , Charlotte county is not included in that area.
A casino would certainly add to the possibility of the project being successful.
