It certainly gave me faith again in human nature to see people helping one another. Lots of good people out there but unfortunately we only hear about the bad ones.

I think many move to Florida thinking it will be a lower cost of living. Homes may be less expensive than other places but many other things cost more.

Can anyone please tell about what our elevation is around harbor Blvd in port charlotte. They say the hospital is 15 ft

It's not only elevation you need to worry about when it comes to flood zones. Proximity to water is important, too. One street might be zone A and the next street might be zone B or even C. You can google the charlotte county evacuation zone map to find out exactly what zone you are in.
