Anyone having any dock work done soon? I need 1 pile driven for a jetski lift. Figure I would get the best price from someone already working in the area.
Thx

For just one, I would pick one up from the lumberyard (I know Shoreline Lumber in Englewood sells them) and water jet it in yourself. The dock company's get anywhere from $300-500 for each one IF they are installing a dock/lift. But to come out to do just one pile will likely cost 2-3x that.

Understand.. but handling a 14 ft pile 10inches diameter is not something I would be capable of. I know of a project this coming summer. So will probably wait for that. I was told 350 per pile if they are in the area.

Will companies do that? I need 2 put in but wasn't sure if they would do it without a permit.

I don't think you will get someone to do it without a permit.

Sadly, and I’ve only been here 2 1/2 years, but I’m not getting the warm and fuzzies from my neighbors that things are always done on the up and up, politics-wise here. Which is a nice way of saying something smells here and it ain’t the seawater.
