Is anyone else addicted to this show? I wish it were on more often as I find myself remaining in the car until it goes off (Saturday @ 11:00 a.m. here in the station from Monterey) .

Click & Clack . They are two of the most affable people on radio.

I, too, love the Tappet Bros. I'm usually too busy when it airs live. Sigh... But, fortunately, our local newspaper carries their column.

Yes, The San Jose Mercury has their column every Sunday, but you don't get to hear their cool accents.

I truly enjoy their show. I try to listen every Saturday. It comes on a 10 where I live and then I love to listen to Wait Wait afterwards. If the family has to do somethng my daughter gets stuck listening to it in the truck. Poor girl, maybe one day she'll appreciate it.

They are great. I usually download the podcasts and listen while I am cleaning on Sundays.

I haven't listened to Car Talk in ages (I think I have a Car Talk I.D. from around 1990 saved somewhere). I do remember, though, listening on a long drive when they were playing a "New England spelling game," in which one of the brothers would spell a word, and the other had to guess the word.

Brother #1: F-L-A-W-I-Z

Brother #2: (thinks about it) Ohh.... Flowers!!! (in a heavy New England accent)

Me: *guffaw*

I really like the show. Like Labart, I like Wait, Wait, too. They come on back to back on Saturday morning where I live and I try to plan my house cleaning around them and have a couple of radios in the house tuned in so I don't miss anything when I go from room to room.

Absolutely love those guys. I've been listening to them almost since the beginning. Laugh my arse off with them. Even learn useful stuff sometimes.

I've got two CD's of Car Talk Car Toons and one of Calls about Animals and Cars.

If you're not familiar with the Andy R letter you must go to the website and read it.

For years I had their Latin version of the slogan

Non Impediti Ratione
Cogitationis

Unimpeded By the Thought Process

taped to the top of my computer monitor at work. Maybe that's why my boss hated me. He had no idea what it said and was to __________ to ask.
