At this stage of my life I enjoy fast-pace shows. Maybe 20 or 30 years from now I will be listening to NPR while taking Metamucil, prostate medicine, and all of that.

Don't you think I responded to you accordingly? I didn't write a single "barb" about your listening to NPR. Every person is different: some may like NPR and so they state their reasons, while others don't listen to NPR and say so (I did). I see no reasons to demean those who don't agree with my views.
