Ya Art didnt ever wanna do it again anyway,I dunno what the big deal was with getting back into it...... All he did was make excuses about why he couldnt do this,that,etc........ Say ppl were threatening his family,etc.... It was all BS!!! (Why didnt he just say he decided not to do it??)
Nope..... Arts good time ended with the original show....
I listened to Art Bell long ago when he was on the radio, but when it comes to radio talk hosts, except for Rush who has been there for over 25 years, whiting a few years most come and go. Now I listen to Noory when he has interesting guests in the show, and listen to something else when the subject does not interest me, just like I did when Art Bell was on the radio. But why living in the past?
I find Robert Zimmerman a very interesting Coast To Coast guest. Art Bell had him on his show a couple of times, and now Noory has done the same. When I want to listen to something that is of interest to me, I just look at the show's schedule. For example, these are a few of the hosts in the show: Guests - Coast to Coast AM
When they have 911 conspiracy theorists on the show claiming that the government blew itself up, that's when the show really jumps the shark.
To add/I heard a show some time ago claiming the Sandy Hook tragedy was all a staged hoax,i was amazed how many callers called in and supported this bizarre conspiracy theory saying it was staged as an excuse for the government to take away guns..
I rarely listen to that show anymore.
its definitely nowhere near the product Art Bell gave us every night.
Never been a fan of George Noory but I would take him conspiracy stuff and all over his so-called competition during the late night hours that being Red Eye Radio. There is nothing they do on Red Eye that one can't find elsewhere. I do like to know where they get their weather though since it is usually wrong.
Sometimes I think I only listen to Noory because of the extremely dumb comments he makes, and the even dumber questions he asks.
I doesn't even seem like he is listening to what his guests are saying most of the time.
When a guest gets on a roll and is actually interesting or right on the verge of saying something profound, it seems like Noory always ruins the moment by asking the the most irellevant question and/or making the stupidest comments.
Example:
Guest: Global warming is going to be the greatest downfall of mankind because...
Interrupting Noory: I wonder if bigfoot is real and what would he say about it?
Do you think bigfoot is an inter-dimensional being?
Do you ever wonder if there might be bigfoot angels?
I wonder what they feed the little baby bigfoots for dinner.
Those little baby bigfoots must be a handful when they start to teethe!
(Sorry, I know Noory couldn't think of and remember that many questions to ask at one time.)
Noory: Time for a 20 minute break! Let's listen to some of our "emerging artists"!
Noory is by far the worst interviewer I have ever heard.
Plus, the only other thing I really enjoy on Noory's show are those God-awful Carnivora commercials with the 70's porn music playing in the background.
Immune modulation, my assss!
P.S.: I agree with the above poster about RedEye Radio. But at least RedEye Radio doesn't insult my intelligence like Noory does.

I still miss Art Bell. Boring George, dull guests, nightly book and vitamin hawking along with dozens upon dozens of commercials every ten minutes gives me no reason to turn in. I can't believe Noory is still there.
This is the first I've heard that Art Bell tried to come back but was refused. The network is nuts. Nobody can take Art's place. Look at how many years it's been since he left. We're still pining for Art Bell!
Art had the voice for that type of program. George sounds like he's interviewing church ladies for the choir. I'm surprised C2C hasn't been taken off the air.
Would be great if Art returned to replace that imposter Noory. seems Noorys show is just endless drunks interspersed with too much political innuendo.
