"Morning Jocks" or Shock jocks are a thing of the past ,even Howard Stern is dead air now a days.
I thought Stern was added to the line-up on Sirius-XM (satellite radio) or is he off it now? Used to flip between certain channels on XM on my commutes. Haven't been on any long road trips either so I've lost touch.

Yes he is still there ,just no one listens to him any more.
I never could stand Howard Stern's program. I'll give him credit for being around a long time, but never found the program enjoyable. After not having Sirius radio for quite some time, I traded in my car a few years ago and got Sirius with the purchased car. At the time I was getting Howard's channel for free, so I figured, well, I'll tune in for a few minutes. Listened for about 10 minutes, flipped it off and never went back.

Howard has never been the same since Artie Lange left. Howard and Robin have been rich for so long that they couldn't relate to the working man, who is a huge part of their audience. Artie had that blue collar mentality. He was into sports, music, knew what it was like to do manual labor, etc.
It's really a shame that he's probably going to die from heroin. I think he feels so guilty about his dad's accident and can't recover.
