Imus did a show back in the '70's at Nassau Community College on Long Island (NY) and someone from the audience gave him a live duck. That was where the "quack, quack" came from. I still listen to him daily and I do miss him on TV.

I do wonder about the sudden departure of Charles McCord and more recently Warner Wolf. Charles was just gone so fast that I thought perhaps he was ill but I gather he is still alive, but with no contact with Imus. Warner was on one day and all I heard was something from Imus that said, he could not do the show from Florida and that was why he was gone. Both men seemed to have been great friends with Imus and then suddenly gone with not even a gossip column explanation. Just seems odd to me.

Wow great to hear from the one Imus fan out there. Didn't think many out there liked second hand routines and jokes from Howard Stern

OK now we've got Stern fans coming out of the woodwork.

You know what Stern listeners are? Imus listeners....but without the vocabulary. LOL

The TV show was riotous. There was so much amazing stuff, but those impressions by Tony and Rob were the highlights. The teasing was often appalling but Dagen, especially, was a great sport. Sorely missed.
