Armstrong & Getty talk radio: humor, current events (shows, Iheart, morning)

I discovered this show by accident one morning and now listen daily. These guys are quirky, funny, but have common sense (common sense is uncommon these days).

I surprisingly find them refreshing, at least compared to the talk shows that come after A&G in the Bay Area. Of course, they can be quite silly but mixed in are some great insights. They have been together for years yet get along very well and play off each other (plus one of them lives in my hometown).

They must run off of some kind of script or at least a sheet of talking points.

Here in Portland Oregon, there show is on 1190KEX and ends at nine in the morning.

After it's over, I change to 101.1FM and listen to a show called Markley and VanCamp.
Markley & Van Camp Show - KXL

They go over almost the exact same stuff, sometimes even the same jokes, but the show is geared more towards Portland.

It's very eerie on how similar the shows are, it can't be a mistake or coincidence, it happens every day.

Personally, I find Armstrong & Getty way too silly and cornball, and really don't like them that much.
