I've listened to his show before. He has had some strange guests/topics before. Some have been quite interesting.

Since noone mentioned him, I'd like to say I think Ian Punnett is the best of the three regular hosts. Art had a bit too much edge for my liking, and George Noory, while likeable, says some really inane things.

Did any of you see "2012" yet? There's a character (Woody Harrelson's role) on there that remind me of Bell and Noory.

I have listened extensively in the past (the Art Bell days) and still listen from time to time. If there is a good guest on I will tune in. Otherwise, I really get burned out on listening to the "dreams" and "experiences" of many of the pathetic callers who do not have a life, nor anyone else to talk to. LOL

It's a good show because it does make you think. I found out about Dr. Judy Wood on that show and I have been amazed by that and the Hutchison Effect ever since. It definitely makes you think about things.

Can't pick it up locally so not a regular listener. But, I have listened a lot over the years when I've lived out west. Not the same without Art Bell.

The best times (and most usual times I listened) was while driving alone late at night, blasting across some empty, barren desert wasteland with little or no other traffic...

George and Ian are ok, but there's only one Art. Especially when it comes to handling JC. I describe the show as X-Files on the radio.

A few years back I can remember when some radio station in Virginia actually aired on a tape delay, Coast to Coast AM...in the afternoon from Noon to three and for a time actually did quite well with it even beating Rush Limbaugh. Of course this in turn led to rumors and predicitons about some radio stations would be airing Art, Ian and George 24/7. That never happened...well the way radio is...still can't rule that out, totally anyway.

I use an ancient (1980's) Sony radio that brings in weak AM stations well enough that I can listen to George. My alternatives are Canadian CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) AM with it's best-ever early evening show "As It Happens".

George has a few too many nutballs for my listening pleasure, I being a scientist and all. The promised follow-ups ("We'll get you back here after you do that psycho-kinetics experiment with 10,000 participants!"...) never happens!

I, have actually seen a satellite-like UFO (note that I didn't say spaceship or alien abducto-craft; just an Unidentified Flying Object) zig-zagging across the skies in 1952 (before Sputnik!!) up in northern Canada, at satellite altitudes. Therefore I am always interested in those topics, but the guests go a bit off the wall usually.

For those having trouble getting any stations, but have wireless internet in their house, I'd strongly recommend a wireless internet radio. You'll get excellent (perfect) reception and about 2000 station choices, all with visible IDs.

Just Google C. Crane radios. They have them all!
