There is a low-power throwback hip-hop station here now but still nothing playing the current hits aside from what comes on Wild 104.9. I have always liked 97.9 the Beat in Dallas and usually listen when I am down there.
Doesn’t have what? An Urban? I get its transmitter is 60 miles west of downtown OKC, but 103.5 is definitely an OKC targeted station.

In OKC, the station isn't listenable because of bleed-in from 103.7, a K-Love affiliate. Once you get out around Yukon or as far south as Norman it becomes more listenable.

Is there a reason that stations targeting far away markets don't place a translator in that market to boost the signal? It seems like a poor way to try to compete with streaming services. Sometimes I think the demise of FM radio can be blamed more on companies like iHeartMedia than Pandora and Spotify.
