Me personally I think its Philadelphia. All it plays is wack ass lil wayne, soulja boy and all these other corny rappers.Rappers that dont put heart in the music. And then they have little 12 year old callers calling up saying "OMG Play lil wayne lollipop or im going too kill my self" then they start screaming..

I think hiphop is dead.

I heard on the west coast they have west coast wednesdays which is only 20 min. of west coast rap.

The radio is brain washing all the little urban kids with $%@# rap..Its not even hiphop no more seriously.

Same with rock stations.. I mean Jonas brothers????????? Give me a break.

Most urban radio stations are owned by the same company, so what you hear in one city will probably be heard in the other. The local DJ's do not dictate the playlists anymore.

All of them suck. They are all owned by Clearchannel.

I actually started a business to combat those forces.

Let me start by saying they all suck but Hot 97 is not the worst. The worst is probably some BS station in Mississippi, or Atlanta.

Orlando:
Power 95.3, they had the same 3-4 songs in heavy rotation, they literally didn't play anything but those 4 songs it was unreal and wack.

102 Jamz is way better and they got the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

New York City:
I like Hot 97 but they stay remixing/rewinding the songs so much that it starts to give me a headache.

I listen to Power 105 the most .

"Taking Back the Radio"

Thank you, Clear Channel owns almost every one of the radio stations that people are mentioning in here. Going back and forth over which city has the worst radio station is really quite silly being that Clear Channel decides what gets played, and not the local DJ's

As someone who travels a lot-I often skim thru radio stations and nowadays, they all sound exactly the same in every city and they all play the exact same songs.

Gross.
