I have been listening to Phil since 2000. Started hearing him with WELI in New Haven, CT. He got me the first I heard him while driving to study for college finals. It was Bobbi and Steve Dooley and Bobbi kept of having asthma attacks after she ripped down her neighbors Christmas lights. Then there was Jay Santos searching peoples bags as they exited the grocery store to make sure they weren't buying canned goods. I now hear him in Houston. He is a genius. Vernon Dozier and RC Collins are my favorites.

My all time favorite was the Korea Veteran who was so upset over kids who TP'd his house. He was going to go out and " get a box of razor blades and a bag of macintosh." to deal with the trick or treaters who were trying to terrorize him. When a woman caller pleaded with him to calm down and to talk to somebody he said "It's out of my hands." LOL.
Another time he was a guy whose house burned down in the California wildfires and was so upset becasue his was the only house that burned down in the development and the gifts of food and clothing and a tent from his neighbors made him feel like a red man indian being patronized by the white man settlers. ROFLOL.
Then he was the owner of Ken's steakhouse who had to rescind his offer of Lakers tickets to needy children because he found out they were handicapped and it might hurt his image. Or when as an elderly man he euthanized his ailing wife and later revealed she had just a minor illness and he apparently murdered her. Just having people take him seriously was a riot. With so much craziness going on I wish his old show was still running. I keep thinking he does chat rooms and yanks people chains.

Phil had a guest appearance on this week's episode of "Modern Family" on ABC. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but his role was related to the kind of pranks Icy Tea mentioned above.

BTW, did anybody else catch his New Years eve show where he was the police auxiliary guy who used a helmet cam to look in the windows of women and show the video to their husbands? Oh man, I thought I was going to laugh myself into a coronary.
