I lost two of my parakeets this month. I had them both for 10 years. Cindy died 6/4/11 and Billy 12/29/11. Cindy had a tumor and Billy was old. They were so comical. Billy was a baby when we got him and Mimi who died last year at 10 years also, used to feed him when we first got him. I have Sky, a parakeet who is about 7, he was a rescue and a black masked love bird named Bingo, who also was a rescue. Poor guy was kept in a cage in a room where no one bothered with him. With time and patience, he became the most fun loving bird. He keeps my husband and I laughing with his antics. I have read that love birds are nosy and Bingo certainly is. He has to investigate everything. Well, just want to say RIP to my two little buddies. You will be missed very much and in our hearts forever. Love you guys!!!!!

No one should underestimate how much love such small creatures can offer.

I'm sure your house seems quieter these days, even with Bingo.

So sorry.
