My black 13 year old cat got very sick almost overnight. Doctors said it had been building up
to this. Either cancer or some infection. It was heartbreaking to see his eyes and I still can't believe
he is gone. I will have to write him off in the past, and I don't want to! This was very emotional
for me. He was a fun jumping curious cat, sort of wild. my WILD GUY and he loved to
eat! Pity is I don't even have good photos of him because I am not a picture taking type.
The whole thing shocked me, including my high bills for emergency care. I wonder if I should have spent more money. I have felt guilty too.

Even worse, my older cat has lost some of her appetite. Maybe she misses him at meal time?

I am so sorry for your loss. I believe he is now running the great catnip fields of the sky, happy and healthy, with lots of new friends. My Buster and Katrina were there to greet him. ( ( Hugs ) )

Condolences on your loss. It's always hard, it feels terrible, the guilt is the worst, "did I do enough, did I mess up somewhere, why didn't I know, what if this, what if that..." it's horrible. Really, really sorry.

I agree, we always second guess ourselves at these times, no matter what choices we make.
Your other cat may well be missing her friend. A little extra pampering wouldn't hurt.
I'm very sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is.
