In Memory of Clue
Karla with a K's beloved greyhound, Clue, went to the Rainbow Bridge earlier this week. 
Clue was a retired racer who shared his home with another retired racing greyhound (Karla Jr.) and one spaniel mix, a pound rescue named Lola.
Greyhounds are known to be sweet dogs and Clue was no exception. Up until the end he was a happy, friendly cuddlebug. 
Clue will always be remembered as racer, as an ambassador to his breed, and as a member of the family. We will miss you Clue.

I have to say Karla, I love all your dogs, but Clue was really my favorite  .
I'll always remember his calm, steady nature and his genuine happiness to see me when I walked through the door. His head on my lap, his soft fur.....he was a beautiful dog.
I'm sorry for your loss and I know you'll be okay.

Karla, I'm so sorry to hear about Clue - I knew he had been ill and it has been a very hard time for you. Our thoughts are with you - run fast and run free, Clue...there's a great racetrack in the sky for you, buddy.

Karla,
I so enjoyed your pictures of Clue and companions on the exercise thread. I have no doubt in my mind that he was loved more than anything and truly you were the best mom in the world. We are here for you my friend. Jeannie |

We all have to love our pets as much as we possibly can because their time with us is all too brief.
Bringing a retired greyhound into your home seems extra special, even though your time together is even shorter.
Clue will be waiting for you at the bridge.

Karla,
I know very well, the wonderful gift people as yourself give to retired greyhounds with adopting
them into your family. I applaud you for being such a sweet Mom to all your fur kids.
But I know Clue will forever applaud you for all the love, fun and spoiled moments you shared
together. And you too, will always be applauding this special fur kid who is forever in your heart.
