Default My Little Man Bandit

Two weeks ago, I had to put my 16 year old Miniature Pinscher to sleep. He was blind and deaf, but could still get around pretty well considering. He had started losing control and stumbled and fell a lot in the last days. He was a great dog and in his prime, was as fast as lightning and could jump 4 feet off of the ground. He went everywhere with me. I even stowed him away in my bat bag at a softball tournament one time. (the park didn't allow dogs) He gave love unconditionally and loved his doggie walks. I finally found a way to tire him out. I rode my bike and had him running beside me on the retractable leash. He loved it! He was a little man (8 lbs) but thought he weighed 100.........it was funny to see him dominant over my friends 80 lb lab!

So he is at ease now, waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge......he can see and hear everything and is running and jumping like he used to when he was a young pup! I will see you again one day "Little Man" .....I look forward to that time when we can be together again!
