Ivory -May you rest in Peace
Ivory was diagnosised with metastatic skin cancer just alittle over 5 months ago. This Tuesday I realized she was tired of fighting it and she made the journey to the Rainbow bridge. She was a 9 yr old white Greyhound that I rescued 7 years ago. She loved me so unconditionaly that I will never forget her. She went everywhere I went on our small ranch and never caused any trouble. I feel so good that I was able to give her 7 years of a great life. She was very much loved and will be missed.

Excellent way of looking at things. I understand you pain and loss. Best of hope and blessings because of the life that was graciously granted.

Sorry for your loss......
HE IS YOUR FRIEND
He is your friend, your partner, your defender; he is your dog…
You are his life, his love,
his leader…
He will be yours, faithful and
true, to the last beat of
his heart…
You owe it to him to be
worthy of such devotion…

So sorry for your loss, I applaud you for understanding and seeing that Ivory was tired of it all.
They do let us know when they can, we just need to learn to listen, as hard as it can be sometimes.

You have my deepest sympathy and understanding at this time. Ivory was so lucky to have been found by you. Greyhounds are gorgeous dogs. It sounds as if she knew you were her rescuer, and she gave you her devotion in full. Take care. And bless you for saving her.

I'm so sorry for your loss...thank you for rescuing her & giving her a wonderful life! Greyhounds are always at risk of being put down once they can't race anymore...we've rescued 4 so far at the e-vet clinic where I work, and they are just such wonderful dogs!

I'm sorry for your loss and totally appreciate how difficult, yet selfless it is to allow our friends to move onto the next level with dignity and care. I faced that myself, and honestly believe that by doing so, we have shown them our deepest love. I also believe that they are now in a wondrous place where they're forever happy, healthy and loved

Thank You everyone for all your kind words. I know I did the right thing and that she is in a much better place now. I am missing her daily but time will heal that pain. I appreciate your words so much because I can tell you all have probably been thru this and know how it feels. Thank you again
