Does anyone know of any churches that offer a Mother's Day Out program? I am just looking for something about two days a week in the mornings - so I can get some grocery shopping done or clean the house! (ok or get a pedicure...) They had these all over when we lived in Louisiana. Preferably in the North Raleigh area since that's where we'll be living? They are usually programs for infants through three years old.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Looking forward to getting (back) to Raleigh...

Look into Benson Methodist Preschool on Creedmoor Road in Raleigh near Crabtree. It's not a "mother's morning out" but they do have several options for 1, 2, and 3 morning a week preschool programs from 9-12. My own children attended there and my nephew goes there as well. I highly recommend it.

I am sure there are more in north raleigh, my guess is they are church based, as most of the mmo programs I see have been. My daughter goes to wake forest presbyterian and they have two mmo programs, one for 1 year olds (one day a week) and one for 2 year olds (2 days a week). The parents work periodically in both classes.

I know that registration for these classes will probably start in the january/february time line! I would look at the carolina parent magazine online and check out their directories of preschool, that may help.

Well Triangle Community Church (Home - Triangle Community Church) offers MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) but its more like 2 times a month and its fun with childcare for your kids.. who also get to hear His Word and play games and experience healthy fellowship with kids their own age.

The food for Moms is GREAT, the crafts we do is awesome.. the speakers are terrific and the ladies there are just beyond wonderful. I love it.

But it might not be what you are looking for. Just had to share it though.
