Where I work, there are lots of this year's Yellow Pages that nobody has picked up (they've been sitting out for 2 months). If that's all you want, I could get you some.
Otherwise, you could always go "dumpster diving" in a recycling bin that takes phone books, and at least get last year's. Many times they are still in fairly pristine condition when thrown out.

Mine went right in the recycle bin. If I see the guys delivering them I always tell them "No Thanks."
