I'll be in the Wake Forest area this weekend and I would like to find a jewelry store that offers unique sterling silver pieces. I need to pick up a gift. Any suggestions for the Wake Forest/North Raleigh area would be appreciated.

There is a small jewelry store in a shopping center off Capital Blvd. There is a discount grocery store in the shopping center called Aldi. Behind this Aldi, this particular jewelry store sells all types of silver jewelry and some very unique pieces at a very discounted price. Wish I could remember the name!

If you are specifically looking for silver, I love Charlotte's in Cameron Village - if it's still there ?? You can get really cool monograms on pieces, too.

There is a charlotte's in triangle town center mall (which would be closer to you). Have you looked at the cotton company in downtown wake forest? I don't know if they specifically have a sterling silver vendor, but they have many many different artisans displaying their goods throughout the building (if you haven't been there they have different kiosk like spaces for people to sell their goods). I would think someone selling silver would be there!

My favorite place though is in chapel hill, black mountain silver company - it used to be in eastgate and now is in meadowmont. They have been around since I was a kid and have great handmade silver jewelry. Their website is:
Designer jewelry handwrought in silver and gold

Good luck!

Leigh

We love Kerry Catherine. It is next door to Jolly's in North Hills, so you can try both and see which style you prefer.

Look at the Cotton Company in downtown Wake Forest...it's a charming coop of handcrafted items, quite large. I was very impressed with the extensive selection of truly fine workmanship in sterling jewelry, and the prices are so very nice! Unique pieces, one of a kind, and beautiful.

Good luck. I'm sure all the suggestions here are good ones. I just don't know the others.

I have no idea what the name is but there is a store in The Factory in Wake Forest. Not the kiosk type place that is there but an actual store. It has gormet gifts, unique gifts and a jewelry section. Very interesting and unique pieces. Worth a shot.
