I am planning my sweet sixteen and my best idea so far theme-wise is a glow/rave type party. However, I would need the space to do it. I've already looked at places like hotels and since I want it to have the club type feel, they don't seem appropriate. And I have thought about seeing about renting out a club but I don't know how that would work since I'm underaged or if it would be too expensive.

I'm thinking a place that is inexpensive to rent out (because a girl does have a budget) and big enough to entertain 50+ teenagers for a few hours.

PLEASE HELP!!! I want this night to be unforgettable!! Thanks!!

MTV rots your brain...

But to answer your question you could check out country clubs or rec buildings for neighborhood pools. Most are pretty "plain" and if you wanted you could possibly tack up black fabric to cover up the windows.

Another thought is Artspace downtown. All wood floors and exposed beams... could have a "loft club" feeling to it. There are different sized rooms, but I think the biggest one rents for $1200.

Be weary of any place called "Quagmire's". Also, if you hear "giggity, giggity", RUN!
