I have a deposit placed with the Preserve at Brier Creek and have until Monday to make a decision whether or not to take the apartment.

I would appreciate any insight you might have regarding the property.

Bring on the good, the bad and the ugly. Candor is King.

Thank you.

There are so many apartment complexes over here that I don't remember which one is "The Preserve". Is that right across from the shopping center? I highly recommend you start looking at the ratings for that complex, which I was able to find online. They do not seem favorable.

Thanks for the response.

That is the primary reason I posted this topic. I do believe, however, that almost all of the glowing reviews on apartmentratings.com are placed by employees of the complex itself.

It is also common practice for only those who lived there and are unhappy to post negative comments as opposed to those who are satisfied.

I have not had any problems where I live now but if I go on to look at reviews I see things that don't reflect my experience here at all

It is such a small sample size and the integrity of that site is questionable.

It would be great to hear from someone who lives there now.

Thanks.

I lived there for a while. Great location and the apartments are pretty big for the price. The staff there is fine and will help out with what you need. Decent little gym with new equipment recently added. Remember in an apartment complex like that you never know what you'll get with loud neighbors above, below, next door, etc.

The only issue I had was it seemed many non-residents flock to the pool and fill it up w/ people during the summer but they are aware of it.

It is as good as any complex for your $$ that you'll find in BC.
