What, are you planning to buy a FSBO? Any decent realtor should have been able to tell you this.
Yes, there are county and city taxes, and ballpark for for a $300K home in Pinehurst should be about $2.5K/year. The MLS listing shows both city and county taxes for the prior year and while some homes are over- or under-valued, you can look up the tax valuation on the house you're considering at Real Property Lookup - County of Moore, NC. (Just put in the address and hit "search".) If you calculate the tax to value factor based on the assessed valuation, and apply it to what you'd pay for the house, you should have a very close approximation of what you'll pay, since they'll likely adjust the valuation to "market value" based on what you pay.
