Default Housing in raleigh

I am going to be graduating soon from UNC-Chapel Hill soon and I wanted to know of a good area to live in raleigh that isn't too expensive since I am just graduating. About 145K would be my max, maybe 150. I am looking at some jobs near Capital Blvd and I wouldn't want too long of a drive. Any suggestions on a good area or neighborhood?

There are quite a few new neighborhoods along Capital Blvd., heading towards Wake Forest. Some single family homes and townhouses, as well. Find an agent and get busy!

Even though alot of the lenders are cutting back on loans, if you have decent credit, you may still be eligible for first time homebuying loans or 100% loans.
