Our house was built with room for an elevator but we currently use it as a mud room. We are starting to think about seriously saving for an elevator before we really need it.
Anybody have one? what recommendations would you make?

Many thanks

This may be of some help to you...the townhouses at Brier Creek that are 3 levels and being built by Standard Pacific have elevators. Maybe you can check it out to see who did the work and they can answer some of your questions.

Try Godwin Elevator. Untitled Document They do some smaller commercial stuff and maintenance, but they specialize in Residential. They are the main player in Raleigh area I think, even if their web design guy forgot to name the home page.
