Need Subaru repair recommendation (Raleigh, Durham: neighborhood, prices, shops)

I would appreciate a short list of Subaru shops that one would put at the top of their list to work on the family subaru. eloyfan? am about to get the first timingbelt/w-pump done. triangle area please.

I take my Subaru over to Wasp Automotive in Durham. They have a great staff over there.

Schneehund, I am indeed so glad you asked!

I just about 5-6 weeks ago had this work done (and a 100K makeover) at Gaston's Garage in the Shepard's Vineyard neighborhood (Old Raleigh Road) in Apex. Bill Powell is the general manager and he can be reached at 387-7270.

Also I have let these folks service our 3 family vehicles, 6 company vehicles for which I am responsible and the Apex municipal employees (PD/FD, etc.) are regulars.

Check out the Subaru website. They are now offering free ownership badges for your vehicle. The website explains it better than I can. Please let us know how your experience with your engine work goes! (Gaston's also has great tire prices.....better than tire places I compared them to).
