Clayton Pointe Subdivision
Good Morning,
I was wondering if anyone know anything about the Clayton Pointe Subdivision. Also, if you know of a website that would be great too. We are making the trip down tomorrow and are very excited to look around again.
Thanks,
Gia

I found the addresses for the streets Clayton Pointe, Eagle Pointe, and Dove Pointe Lane on the fm realty website but because the streets are new, they couldn't be mapped so I have no idea where they are. Elementary school is Wilson's Mill ,Middle school is Smithfield and HS is Smithfield Selma so I would guess it is closer Smithfield. The houses look to be decent sized on nice sized lots of 3/4+ acre. Price range looks to be 175-200 for the houses listed on MLS.

I think this is a subdivision off of Little Creek Church road very close to the intersection of hwy 70 business. It looked to be a very nice subdivision when I last saw it about a year ago. Maybe 10-15 min to get to the intersection of 70 where the Burger king/McCalls are located. As jamieshel88 says, this subdivision goes to Smithfield schools but is located on a beautiful country road with nice wooded lots I think.

Wilson Mills Elementary is the only Clayton school I've heard bad things about. I knew a mom who had a child there and was VERY unhappy with them. I don't know much else but figured I'd mention it. BE sure to visit the school to get a feel before putting an offer on a house there.
Aside from Plantation pointe, there is also the Centex community called "The Pointe" in the Cleveland area of Clayton....its about 5 miles from the 40/42 area. We looked at several Centex communities and preferred something with larger lots.
We ended up in Tafton in Wendell (its really Clayton but mail is farmed out to Wendell) which is served by River Dell Elementary (fabulous school). Lots are wooded and about .66 of an acre. Homes are approx 2100sf, 3bdrm, 2.5 bath plus bonus room for about $200k to $215k.

I live in Clayton Pointe...
...and if you want in, you better hurry. Phase III is almost sold out. There's no website, no nothing.
The development is off Little Creek Church Road near 70 business...close to Johnston County Airport.
If you want trees in your neighborhood, it's a great place. If you're a Yankee, you'll like it even more...plenty of Yankees in Clayton Pointe.
The only streets that are on the map is Clayton Pointe Dr. and Eagle Pointe Ln.
Find them, and you'll find the rest. Don't get it confused with "The Pointe" in Clayton or Plantation Pointe...not the same.
If you want to see a finished Comfort Homes product go here:
