My mom's 75th birthday is in December and my immediate family is going to come down to Raleigh to suprise her for her birthday. I'm looking for a casual place in the Cary or Apex area (she lives in Lochmere as do most of her friends) that I can book a private party room in late December. It would be for about 20-25 people(family and close friends). Any suggestions?

Thanks!

We've been to a private party at Biaggi's in Cary that worked well. They have a event manager that can provide details, here's a link for more info:

Don't know if this is going to be too expensive or not but Rey's Steakhouse in Cary has several private rooms for a private party at no cost.

WeLuvNC, re: your list ...

I don't think the room at Stonewood is big enough to handle 25 comfortably, but I may be wrong.

Where is the private room at Sunset Grille? I've been there several times and don't recall seeing anything that could be considered a private room. Or maybe it's so private, I just haven't seen it. ;-)

Either Peak City Grille or Ocean Grill in Apex. I have attended private birthday parties at both. Just the right size for about 25. I prefer Peak City.
