Health Centers
Are there any Public Health centers in NC? When we move there, we won't have health insurance until we get situated. We have 2 kids and you never know what may happen. Just wanted a place that works on a sliding fee until we get health insurance. In Fl we have a county health center that goes by you income.

Every County has it's own health department which provides very basic health services for people who need it.

In Wake County there is Wake Health Services: Wake Health Services

What about health insurance programs for kids for middle class families? (if your company doesn't offer it)

There is a children's health insurance program for low-mid income families in NC. It used be called "CHIP" but has a new name now.
