I have been in a brand new apartment for about 2 months and I can't believe this place has bugs! Is this the norm for this area? Please suggest some nice places in wake county that is bug free especially roaches!!! please help
Is it an extreme amount? I do have roaches every now and again. They make me want to curl up in the fetal position in the corner. My apt has a bug guy come every few months, but he only sprays the kitchen, so I've put out my own roach bait. Now, I probably only see one a month. Can you ask the office to have someone spray it or put out your own traps?
I do not live in Wake County, I am in nearby Orange County and I live in a large apartment complex and I have never seen a roach. The only but I have seen is a tiny spider.
I don't think roaches are "the norm" for any area.
They can be almost the norm in the inner city. Everywhere I've lived in the city I've dealt w/ roaches just about. I live in an apartment in Wake and haven't seen 1 roach since I've been here. Make sure they come spray your apt. often. Roaches can get out of control quick.
Go to the nearest hardware store, we got ours at Lowe's, and ask for help in finding electrical plugs that send a high pitch that humans cannot hear but the bugs can. You will have more bugs for a few days, but then they should clear out. We have a problem with spiders and use these all the time.
I just pulled one out of the electrical socket to get the name of the product. It is Vermin-X. On the back of the product it says "Ultrasonic Pest Repeller. I can't use regular sprays, etc. because of allergies.
What??? I've lived in the Raleigh area for 11 years and I've never seen roaches in my house. Ants come in like crazy and I use Diatomaceous Earth and that takes care of them, but roaches...never.
