Are there any social workers here who have moved from another state who can comment on ease or difficulty of getting licensed in NC. Is it pretty much reciprocal if you have current licensure in another state? If not, does anyone have a social worker friend who may have relocated to NC from another state who you could ask about this? TIA.

I've been researching this myself just recently. I recommend going to the website below. Click on application and look at the page which talks about obtaining licensure through "comity".

NCSWBOARD.ORG

Basically you need to submit the application and demonstrate that you have met the criteria, and show them your exam scores.
