I am having a major senior moment and I am trying a shot in the dark here. Listening to the radio this morning they mentioned some event later this month that sounded interesting to me. I wanted to mention it to my wife when I got home, but totally forgot what it was.

I believe the event is the weekend of the 25th. What events are happening that weekend around Raleigh? It wasn't a Durham or Wake Forest event. I am pretty sure it was in Raleigh. I think tickets were involved. Not a concert, art or foodie event.

This is very frustrating to not remember, but I know it was good.

No, not it. That's what my wife thought. They say memory is the first thing to go and I can now verify that to be true.

Any other events?

I think it might actually be this Saturday, not next.

Ha ha, I totally understand! I have wondered if I need to get one of those tiny keychain recorders to memorialize things as I hear or think of them.

Maybe the Hillsborough Street Festival? Here's a good website with upcoming events:

I got it. It was Cary and is next weekend, not this.

10th Annual SAS Golf Championship

Whew! It only took me 7 hours to remember.

Okay how funny is that! I have had those "Senior Moments" or "Oldtimers Disease" moments more times than I can remember - wait what was I talking about? Anyway Jersey Shore -what was the question again
