I have a gas fireplace in my home that is not working. Does anybody know a good fireplace repair company in Raleigh?

From this earlier post, Capitol Hearth and Stone and Brandco are two with whom I have experience, and would not hesitate to recommend.

Probably Capitol Hearth and Stone for a non-working gas FP, since they can come out with licensed HVAC and/or Plumbing techs.

I just had Ken from Capitol Hearth and Stone come out to look at my fireplace, based on the suggestion here. He was really nice, and 1 hour later my fireplace is working again. They have a flat rate service call fee where they will take it apart and clean it and do simple repairs....if it can't be fixed, they stop and give you the big estimate. It was a good deal, in my opinion.

Another vote for Capitol...they seem to leave happy customers in their wake every time I hear their name.

I used Bradco for a conversion from propane to natural gas for two fireplaces. They were prompt and I was quite happy with the work done.

Does anyone know if Capitol Hearth and Stone is still in business? I tried to call but got the "this number is not in service" message, yet their website is still (seemingly) in operation.
