Tucker House is great! I went to a catered Christmas luncheon there somwhere between 15-21 years ago (don't remember which agency it was for - LOL!). Food was eh, but the decorations and the house itself was great.

NRG, I am glad you found some places to share your gift of music! I can't imagine this time of year without it. I'll get the opportunity to sing with the Triangle Brass Band tomorrow night. (Well, I'm one of 150 singers, that is!) Can't wait to hear what they sound like. Our one and only rehearsal was in a high school cafeteria! Lovely acoustics!

You were there? Cool!

Hope it sounded OK. I need to do a better job planning out my gigs next year. I played on Thur, Fri, Sat, and Sunday and my chops were kinda worn out by Sunday at Southpoint.

Sorry we didn't get to meet!

I was the guy in the brown jacket. I wasn't certain it was you until I checked the schedule you'd posted here, but I had an inkling. I love that Southpoint supports local musicians and performers and allows them to perform there. You and others there have much more talent that I would ever hope to have, so I always enjoy listening for a bit.

Default My last gig

I'll be playing one last time at Electric Beanz Coffee Bar in Raleigh (website) - This Saturday December 18th from 5-7pm.

After that I am retiring the Christmas Carols until Christmas 2011.

Merry Christmas!

2011 Update

I've scored a new location this year. I've been approved to play at North Hills in Raleigh. If you see me out there playing stop by and say hello!

Default North Raleigh Guy-Trombonist

Please post your holiday performance schedule as it develops.

For those who don't know or haven't heard, this talented young man's performance is well worth a listen! (and perhaps some beer money?)

8-)

That's what I was going to suggest--Apex, Cary, and Morrisville have parades.
