over the past few weeks it seems to me that there is significantly fewer postings on this forum. Is it because everyone went to the State Fair? or just because the weather has been so good and people have better things to do? Anyone else notice this? Any reasons why you think this is so? Or am I just wrong?

It is a little quieter. I think most of the crazy people have migrated over to the Politics and Controversies forum to sling mud at each other over the mid-term elections coming next week.

I think everyone is just busy with the usual end of year crunch. Work, state fair, fall chores, outdoor activities, planning for the upcoming holidays, etc.

Is it possible that they're getting jobs and are too busy now or am I just overly optimistic?

^^ Actually, you will notice that the forum is slower on weekends when people aren't at work!

There is not as much going on school board wide at the moment, no snow days to argue about, no bad weather to discuss, not much gong on in the news locally (which is probbaly a good thing) and I think relocation slows downthis time of year in general.
City data=boring for the time being!

Awww...you missed me and my 12 posts. I'm flattered.

I'm bummed to have missed the last meet up. Turns out I participated in an all weekend flea market that weekend. I even bought the daily deal coupon for the coffee joint!

So...when's the next meet up so I can meet you folks?

Rachel

Well, since we all got 90 days for drunk and disorderly after NRG started busting the place up, it might be after the first of the year....

I guess those pics were edited out of the post-event thread. Although, I do think I recall reading something about NRG throwing elbows?
