What would you like to know about them specifically? They're both quiet bedroom communities, although Cary is much larger with more shopping, restaurants, cultural events etc. Morrisville is nice and quiet, small but growing, primarily residential but also has a business area and also the airport is in Morrisville. It's slightly closer to RTP and Durham than Cary, but Cary is closer to Raleigh. There is not a whole lot to do there, but it's close enough to everything else in triangle to find plenty to do elsewhere without much of a drive.

For background we are considering a move to raleigh but I am concerned about safety and schools and I think Cary and morrisville look better on paper. We are going to rent first to check out the area but I just wanted any and all opinions. And I recognize everyone has an "opinion" and that is just what I take it for. I appreciate anyones views , Anyone who lives there and has anything to say about it as well. I am a mother of 4 school age kids and just need info

What are you comparing Morrisville and Cary to on paper? To the just the rest of the Triangle area? You should put the results of your research in larger perspective. How does Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill (and each of the other towns that make up the Triangle area) stack up against other towns or metropolitan areas of similar size or even against the national averages?
I wouldn't limit yourself to just Cary and Morrisville. Just because the schools may appear better on paper or crime may be statistically less, it doesn't mean schools and crime in the rest of the Raleigh area are bad or even just average. Although I haven't ruled out Cary or Morrisville yet from my search yet, I've expanded my search options after doing more research and visiting the area.

we really liked knightdale but it seemed all of the new developments under 200K were near power lines. Then we found a home we love in the Providence subdivision off of rock quarry in Raleigh and I have only heard horrible things about"27610" I would really like to move there but again only things i have read on here have turned me away from there. We are a young interracial couple with 4 children and want to find an equally balanced neighborhood, along with safety, decent schools and overall friendly place to live. Any thoughts? What about Fuquay Varina? I WAH ( work at home) so commute is not an issue.
