Default North Raleigh stores and more...

I'm looking for certain stores. Do you have these in N. Raleigh?
1) Super wal-mart
2) Family Dollar
3) Dollar Tree
4) Dollar General
5) Big Lots/ Odd Lots
6) Ross
7) TJ Maxx
8) Burlington Coat Factory
Are the stores located with in one proximity or spread out? Do you have a mall or how far is it? Town flea market that sells new items? What type of restaurants do you have? Fast food chains? Entertainment? (Bowling, movies, video arcades) Is there a small town with shops and cafe's? Is N. Raleigh a big area or confined to one area?

Super walmart is located in wake forest - not far at all.
Dollar stores - i have seen them but no idea where
Ross - located in north raleigh behind triangle town center
tj maxx - on falls of neuse road
Burlington coat factory - not sure.

These stores are not next to each other but are drivable. We have several malls. Triangle town center is located in N. Raleigh and Crabtree mall which is not far from here and also North Hills Mall on Six Forks. The only flea market I am aware of it the state fairgrounds on the weekend. There is a mixture of new and old stuff.

Restaurants and fast food chains are everywhere. McDonalds, Burger King, Arbys are all next to each other with the others close by. Chilis, Macaroni Grill, Ruby Tuesdays, California pizza kitchen, champs etc are all located by the mall. You will not go hungry in North Raleigh. I didn't even cover half the restaurants.

Entertainment - I haven't been to any yet (only lived here for a month) but I saw a bowling alley on the way to downtown and a movie theater is wake forest. I'm sure they are elsewhere as well. Along Capital Blvd, there are mini golf places, driving ranges, batting cages, and go-karts.

Hope this helps.

1. Yes, we have a Wal-mart…thankfully more options then it though.
2-4. There are at least two dollar stores in town…but I couldn’t tell you their names.
5. No Big Lots in Wake Forest…couldn’t tell you if there are any in the area though.
6-7. There are Ross’s and TJ Maxx around, Brier Creek, Triangle Town,…down on Capital, 70, all very drivable
8/ I’ve seen a sign for one on Capital right past the Louisburg Rd. split….but I don’t know if it’s actually open..never been in there.

There is no town flea market. We do have a weekly farmer’s market. Plenty of restaurants from local places to all the chains.

There are 3 major malls (Triangle Town, North Hills, Crabtree, (in order of closeness to WF) and plenty of large stripe mall areas. They say they are building a small mall in WF just off Capital north of 98, but the only store I’ve seen is JC Penny, so I don’t expect it to be much.)

Bowling is not popular down here, but you can find lanes in Raleigh.

Movie theatre is right across Capital in Wakefield. Never seen a stand alone video arcade…Frankie’s Fun Park has one.

You really need to visit to decide if you think things are close or spread out. It really depends on your personal point of view. I think things are very convenient, but I’ve heard others complain,
