Does anyone know anything about this? Craftsman home on S. Main street just before 98 bypass burned to the ground.

Was it a very old house that could not be re-habbed? Sometimes the fire department will use homes like this for training purposes...kind of fun to watch.

We saw the truck in front of the intact house and the firefighters going in, but no fire! So they probably did set it as a training exercise.

It was indeed a training exercise with a number of fire engines and signs stating as such. It definitetly added to the time trying to get past 98 as they had it down to one lane anyways due to the road resurfacing project.

Was interesting to watch though while I was waiting on the traffic light.
