I am currently checking with Restore to donate our old W/D ( not sure of age bc we were sold it when we moved in ) I am going to have REstore check it out but they don't take older than 10 yrs old. I am sure they will be able to take it but if not where else? Goodwill won't.
And yes they work!

Thanks!

There are plenty of businesses and individuals on Craigslist who will take your used w/d sets. I found these ads when I was looking in the for sale section.

I would also call either the Durham Rescue Mission -> Durham Rescue Mission

or better yet

The Reuse Store for the Habitat for Humanity -> ReStore located in Durham, North Carolina

Durham Rescue Mission came to my home in Wake Forest and picked up my washer and dryer.
