Well, actually, I just wanted to be able to email photos of my baby to my family... but thanks for your super-helpful input. I've already had two babies there several years ago and I already know it's a terrific hospital.

They had wi-fi (no cable required) in patient rooms January of 2007. Granted, that was almost 4 years ago but I'd think if they had it then they would still have it. But, it looks like they may not. Maybe they had some kind of problems with it? I don't know.
send out pics when you get home. life moves fast enough why rush it?
Why not share pics of a new baby as soon as you can? It takes, what, 2 minutes to do so? Easy for dad to do while mom and baby are sleeping, baby is eating, being checked by the doctor, etc. AND it will keep friends and relatives off her back asking incessantly about seeing pics of the baby so they can get some rest!
