Try the boutiques in Cameron Village, Hudson Belk, or Saks.

Other places I like for jeans:
-Buckle. It's a chain store, but they consistently have my size (it's hard finding jeans that FIT right, and I can always count on Buckle to have my size in stock in either Big Star or Lucky brand!)
-Uniquities in Chapel Hill. Decent selection and friendly staff.
-Nordstrom. HUGE selection and a wide range of prices. I usually shop in the juniors department there, and jeans are really cheap if you buy them from the juniors department, but still decent quality. Or you can shop in the fancy jean area and spend a lot of money
-Belk at Crabtree. That Belk is huge! But usually very packed and it's hard to find someone to help you. Belk at Southpoint seems to carry much lower quality.
*Bold by me

I heard Buckles has a lifetime guarantee on the jeans they sell. I couldn't afford to buy jeans from there but I think that's kinda cool.
