I noticed that last night when I drove by. Lights out and nobody in the parking lot.

We received coupons in the mail on Tuesday and were going to try them out, but they were closed. The sign on the door said they were open Monday and Thursday during the week and I think all weekend. I thought that was odd since the flyer said they were open all week for lunch and from 4-10ish.

Drove by tonight on my way home and there's a "for lease" sign out front.

Did they even make it a full month there? I can't remember when they opened. What a shame to dump that much money into the renovations and out in a month...

Never tried Ocean Stars, I've always gone to Skippers.

I wonder why the Japanese restaurant didn't stay open, I mean it was only open a month or two. Quite an investment down the drain on that one!

Ocean Stars was the bomb!! Owners were awesome. They retired to Greece and sold out to Fugi. From what I understood the food at Fugi was not great and they just never got a following.

The food at Fuji was less than stellar. It was pretty bad in fact. I too miss Ocean Stars. Skippers is good, but somehow it's just not the same. I guess I miss the Calabash style seafood restaurants of my youth.
