I noticed several job advertisements (including team leaders and department buyers) for Whole Foods in Raleigh. I'm guessing that this will be for their new location opening in North Raleigh.
I have a need for a Quality Auditor position that's pretty immediate. It's contract with an expected duration of 6-12 months. PM me for an email address to send a resume.

They also have expansion plans for Durham location.
Nordstrom is hiring. Sales is good money. I know some who have a base rate of $9+ 7-9% commission and some shifts they sell upwards of $2000 so if they work 5 hrs at $9 + $160 commision...comes out to~$41/hr before taxes etc. However weekends are usually expected work hours! BTW several who work there have law degrees , masters degrees etc. I think a 4 yr degree is mandatory.
The Blockbuster by Strickland and Six Forks is the one we use. They are usually pretty busy. I think Blockbuster filed Chapter 11 and then restructured and seems to be hanging in there.
There is a brand new Food Lion (was going to be Bloom before FL changed their plans) scheduled to open in March (I think) on Strickland Road, near Ray Road.

Do you know whether they will keep both of the other nearby Food Lions open? I hope if they close one, it will be the one near Home Depot and Bed/Bath Beyond, not the one on Lead Mine.
